We are now accepting applications for our Summer Internship Program and are looking for Digital Marketing and Public Relations interns, as well as Junior Content Strategists.

To apply you must be a current college student. These can’t be just any intern candidates: we are looking for people who are fun, have a great attitude and are ready to learn. Perks include breakfast tacos on Thursdays, office DJ sessions, and free books in addition to high-level campaign and project experience. As a student, you may use this position for course credit – as long as we’re able to meet program requirements.

Publicity Intern

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN HOW TO:

  • Learn how to maintain team-minded approach to campaign work and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in
  • Experience and actively participate in collaborative strategy sessions to produce the most creative, fresh ideas for media

GENERAL INTERNSHIP DUTIES AND A PERCENTAGE FOR EACH TASK

  • Pitching media – 60%
  • Producing collateral materials such as expert bios, press releases, media alerts, etc. – 30%
  • Assisting publicist with mail outs of collateral materials – 10%

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  • Familiar with AP Style
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Willingness to learn
  • Currently working on a degree in communications, public relations, English, or another related field

EVEN BETTER, BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Experience working in a public relations field
  • Previously written press materials, expert bios, articles, blog posts, media alerts, etc.
  • Experience with Cision

Paid hourly at 15-20 hours/week

Digital Marketing Intern
The Digital Marketing Internship Program gives students the opportunity to be immersed into all aspects of the digital marketing world with hands-on experience. Each intern receives a semester of one-on-one learning with Brand Strategists and Content Writers on the team. *Must be a current student to apply.
 
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
  • Create compelling content that will be shared by influencers
  • Assist Strategists in developing social media plans
  • Collaborate on cross-departmental projects
  • Identify top influencers pertinent to clients’ brand or platform
  • Measure and report on campaign analytics
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.)
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and G Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
EVEN BETTER, BUT NOT REQUIRED:
  • Experience in social media management
  • Understanding of social media management tools (Sprout Social, Hoot Suite, etc.)
  • Digital advertising on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications and/or experience
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Writing copy for clients’ social media platforms
  • Analytical research monitoring social metrics
POSITION DETAILS:

JUNIOR CONTENT STRATEGIST
This role is part of our Apprenticeship Program, and gives students the opportunity to be immersed in all aspects of the digital marketing and brand strategy world with hands-on experience.
Each apprentice receives a semester of one-on-one learning with Brand and Digital Marketing Strategists and Content Writers on the team. *Must be a current student to apply.

  • Basic understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and G-Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
EVEN BETTER, BUT NOT REQUIRED:
  • Experience in social media management

  • Baseline understanding of analytics
  • Experience managing and developing content plans for various social media channels
  • Google Analytics
  • Experience with client-facing and or emailing clients
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Writing copy for clients’ social media platforms
  • Analytical research monitoring social metrics
  • Assisting in strategy development and brainstorming
  • Client responses for edits, feedback and day-to-day scheduling
  • Create brand audits for clients to understand a client’s current online infrastructure
  • Assisting in email marketing campaigns and development
  • Organizing brainstorms for new ideas
