THE ROLE

Zilker Media is looking for a driven, analytical, creative and results-oriented Brand Strategist. This role will focus on the development, strategy and delivery of branding and digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels for Zilker Media clients. They will partner closely with our brand strategy and PR teams to implement cohesive strategies, messaging frameworks and measurable results. This role is responsible for account management and will be instrumental for ensuring clients have a wonderful experience throughout their campaign.

This role is expected to develop meaningful relationships with their clients and must also be able to demonstrate Zilker Media’s core methodology and capabilities. They are committed to growing the business together to achieve the vision of Zilker Media.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to drive account management with the highest level of professionalism and can-do attitude
  • Ability to develop, communicate and execute an overall strategic vision for clients
  • Strong project management skills – ability to ensure deadlines and milestones are met by internal and external teams

  • Track record of building strong brands
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with executives and founders
  • Possess a strong understanding of analytics, branding framework and the media landscape. Must be able to use data to back up strategy.

  • Willingness to go above and beyond the norm for clients, partners and team members

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years’ experience in an account management, marketing, digital marketing or social media role
  • Strong experience client facing
  • Experience executing brand strategies and digital marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of public relations and digital marketing 
  • Experience running successful digital advertising campaigns
  • Previous experience using email management software or a CRM to set up automatic nurturing sequences
  • Proven experience leading marketing initiatives, campaigns or projects

WORK ENVIRONMENT & BENEFITS

Business Development Representative

THE ROLE

The new Business Development role will be playing a pivotal part in helping our business development team by focusing on Zilker Media’s new business efforts. This person will work closely with Zilker Media’s leadership team to identify targets and successfully drive tactics to acquire new clients. This role will be instrumental in proactively seeking qualified prospects and developing Zilker Media’s pipeline. They will be responsible for managing the entire acquisition process of PR, quiz marketing and brand strategy clients to our roster, including: sourcing, outreach, discovery phase, vetting, proposal development, contract development and client on boarding.

This role is expected to develop strategic relationships with prospects and partners, and must also be able to demonstrate Zilker Media’s core methodology and capabilities. They have familiarity with our client requirements and are committed to growing the business together to achieve the vision of Zilker Media.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to communicate clearly with potential and existing clients 
  • Warm and friendly disposition with a knack for spotting “win-win” opportunities
  • Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills

  • Can lead on developing assets needed for proposals, contracts and case studies
  • Ability to think strategically, and can identify high-potential targets

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years’ experience in a marketing, sales or business development role
  • Experience developing and closing new client relationships (end-to-end engagement)
  • An established network of relationships with entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, business owners, executives or marketing firms/consultants
  • Experience creating new business opportunities/revenue streams
  • Experience using a CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Knowledge of public relations and marketing and have an interest in being well versed
  • Completion of a sales training course
  • Ability to work with our team to develop inbound marketing funnels

Graphic Designer – Contract Position

DESCRIPTION:

The mission of the contracted graphic designer is to design marketing collateral for a wide variety of clients from concept to completion. You must be a highly creative, innovative designer capable of handling multiple projects across all phases of execution, have over-the-top attention to detail, and deliver revisions as needed in a timely manner.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report to the Digital Director your weekly availability
  • Source stock images if needed for design material (Zilker Media will provide subscription)
  • Make necessary client revisions to design materials within 24 hours on weekdays
  • Capture branding across all materials created for each client
  • Work with Zilker Media on company branding assets
  • Present appropriate designs in a preview slide deck or image for client review

CLIENT MANAGEMENT AND INTERFACE

  • Work with the Digital Marketing team to discuss any design needs with clients
  • Check in with the Digital Marketing Director each week for assignments
