Before joining Zilker Media, Saxonee came from the book publishing world as a Marketing Manager. While here, she managed over 100 author projects for the marketing department and oversaw internal operations for the marketing team.

Saxonee was a first-generation college graduate from the University of Arizona who worked full time throughout her time in college. She also volunteered with the African American Youth Harvest Foundation in Austin during this time by helping children finding love through sports.

Outside of work, Saxonee enjoys caring for her extensive houseplant collection and three cats.
