Content Lion partnered with Zilker Media to create a brand identity that embodied the technical prowess and confidence, with just a hint of roguish charm, to launch them into the market.
The Solution
From the very first conversation, it was clear that the visual branding would hinge on the Lion as the embodiment of the brand’s ethos. Thus, “Richard” was born. The geometric lion, paired with a minimalist shield, symbolizes the intersection of cutting-edge technology and timeless strength. Beyond the logo, Richard’s presence is woven throughout the software experience. From subtle interface accents to bold hero graphics, Richard serves as a unifying symbol of confidence, intelligence, and approachability across every touchpoint.

The color palette, inspired by the lion and its natural habitat, blends warm Savannah golds, deep mahogany, and obsidian black — a visual metaphor for bold leadership. Paired with modern sans-serif typography, the design evokes clarity, sophistication, and a forward-thinking mindset.
Organic textures and the leaf motif nod to the “king of the jungle” narrative, while gradients of gold and red add cinematic energy.
Introduced through the persona of Richard the Content Lion, the brand speaks with authority but never arrogance — and never shies away from a good lion pun. Confident, playful, and unmistakably distinct, the voice strikes the balance between credibility and character.
Messaging emphasizes partnership and continuity: the same secure infrastructure, competitive pricing, and expert leadership — reimagined for the next generation of enterprise content management. The tagline, “Command Your Content Jungle,” ties the narrative together with an assertive, empowering tone that reinforces the brand’s promise t lead with both strength and personality.
