Lindsey Habenicht

Strategist

A brand reaches its full potential when its story feels unmistakably human — connecting values to voice in a way that builds trust, fuels momentum, and creates new possibilities. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping leaders share that story with the world.

About Lindsey Habenicht

Lindsey Habenicht, a Strategist at Zilker Media, blends a passion for storytelling with a data-driven approach to craft strategies that elevate visibility and drive measurable impact.

With nearly a decade of experience spanning agency, nonprofit, and consulting roles, Lindsey brings a unique perspective to every engagement. Before joining Zilker, she founded Good Press, a boutique storytelling studio where she led PR, social media, and brand strategy for clients across finance, construction, wellness, nonprofit, and CPG sectors. Her relationship-driven approach has supported the successful launch of more than a dozen businesses, pairing deep collaboration with strategies that build credibility, thought leadership, and lasting influence.

Lindsey specializes in the intersection of AI and press, guiding clients to use earned media as a strategic tool to remain visible, discoverable, and relevant in a changing digital landscape. Her campaigns have earned placements in outlets including Forbes, U.S. News & World Report, Newsweek, Fox, and high-value podcasts, helping establish clients as credible voices in their industries.

Lindsey’s background also includes serving as the Executive Director of the Maple Valley Food Bank, where she guided organizational growth and led high-impact storytelling initiatives during a period of unprecedented demand. This experience shaped her belief in the power of storytelling to drive connection, strengthen communities, and create meaningful change—a perspective she carries into every client engagement.

She holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University and a Graduate Certificate in Storytelling & Content Strategy from the University of Washington.

After calling the Pacific Northwest home for most of her life, Lindsey is now based in Austin, where she lives with her fiancé, Max, and their golden retriever-husky, Charley. On weekends, you can usually find her exploring new hiking trails, visiting local coffee shops, or cheering on the University of Texas baseball from the stands.
